It is a one-owner item that I purchased new and have used with great care. It has been repaired and adjusted by Nakamichi several times, but I forget when the last adjustment was.
I have checked the operation of the unit, including recording and playback. I used a normal tape for the operation check, so it may need to be adjusted if a different tape is used. The headphone volume has a buzzing sound, but this is not a problem unless the volume is turned up during normal use.
The front panel and top panel have minor scratches and stains from use, but are in good condition.
The top panel was painted some years ago because the paint was damaged by the marks from the equipment that was placed on top of it.
This Nakamichi deck is no longer available.
I have nothing but admiration for Nakamichi's technology and durability that still works today.
I am selling this item because I no longer use the cassette and am decluttering it.
Miraculously, I found the original box (the box is not in good condition) and the instruction manual when it was new. I will send you the cassette in the box.
