RARE Ancient Roman AE AS Trajan 98-117 CE Caesarea Issue Rome.  Struck in Rome for circulation in Syria.  I personally acquired this coin, among others, from the Tex-El Dorado Oil Company Owner’s private collection of antiquities.



To the best of my ability, I inspected the coin and believe the following information is as accurate as I could tell:

Obverse description:  Laureate head right; draped shoulder
Reverse legend:  AHMAPX EEYPAT B 
Reverse Description:  Legend in two lines within wreath
Diameter: approx 27.9mm
Weight:  approx 12.03g
