This is a pair of vintage Lemaire Fabt Opera Glasses / Binoculars. They are compact, and measure approximately 3.75" across. I am unsure of the maximum magnification. I believe they are made of brass, which has been painted black. The barrels are wrapped in dark brown leather. The surfaces of the eye pieces read, "LAMAIRE FABT PARIS." The barrel bridge says, "MADE IN FRANCE," and also has the model # C19515. The focus wheel is fully functional, and the lenses are super clean. These work great!   There is a bit of paint loss on the front bridge between the eye pieces where the brass tone shows through. These are otherwise in overall excellent condition. They do not come with the original case, but will come in a leather case which was made in Japan.
