Y5 - 1927 Talbot Van - Green - Lipton's Tea

Based on the 1927 14 horsepower Talbot chassis, this van was supplied with a custom-built body to accommodate buyers' needs. This enabled the tradesmen of the 1920s and 1930s to have a speedy and versatile means of delivery for their goods.

This beautifully crafted replica by Matchbox is finished in Green, and features opening rear doors. It is in its original Type I ("straw") box. It is believed to have been manufactured in 1978.

Very good used condition. Box has minor age-related wear and some light creasing, but no serious rips or splits. There is a mark to the front face of the box where a sticky label was removed. Model itself is clean and near-mint. See photos - all photos show actual item.
