They range in size from 9-1/2 to 13 inches displaying an aspect of the Caribbean using a colorful set of five (5) rare dolls from Noted Artists Jamie & Steve Isenberg - They are in mint condition and reflect attire of local islanders.  They were handmade, sold about the year 2000, and have been kept by adults in a smoke free environment in a box or displayed on a table or shelf.

The following abstract about the artists was included with the dolls when they were purchased in a St. Thomas gift shop.  They were the only ones available in the store.

"Jamie and Steve Isenberg moved from Southern California to the mountains of Pennsylvania in 1979, after receiving his Degree in Art, where they started working in soft sculpture.  The ideas of two minds add to each piece and blend to make a unique style which captures the essence and personality of each doll created.  Over the years they have become renowned in the medium and have won numerous awards including being judged "Best of Show'' by the New York Times art critic.

Their work can be found in museums, galleries, and fine shops across the United States and abroad. They have also been featured in many magazine articles and their work appeared on both PM Magazine and Good Morning TV shows. Each doll is hand signed by the artist which makes it a personal work of art. Limited editions and one-of-a-kind pieces are also numbered.

The makers of these imaginative creations draw their inspiration from folklore, the world around us and the ever changing, yet constant, beauty of nature. Many of their fantasy characters utilize natural bits and pieces gathered in the woods around their home, which in the words of the artists, "makes them as real as the mist on the forest floor."

Their work is amazing, creative, detailed and above all whimsical. 'If we can bring a smile to someone's face, we've done well.' They have fun doing what they do and that is evident in the end result."
