This is a 1977 CYC BMX Bike Old School Legendary. Magic Mushroom team bike raced by Ronnie Ames. The original Looptail design prior to all the others was manufactured by Gary Turner and Redline. CYC was the bike that eventually fell to mongooses huge shadow but they retained respect on the tracks, by comparison to other bikes of the era, few stormers exist today. Back in the day it was this or a square back redline, nothing else came close they’re the original Ferraris of BMX. The rear Looptail and dropout angle are identical to cooks bros I would think the same fabricators worked them.

Frame stamped 09-12-1977 002205 making this a very rare early production Gary Turner fabricated frame and a non Ames number bike. The components were upgraded to Haro RC3 rims with Shimano sealed bearing hubs, Shimano bottom bracket, knee saver Mirra 540 style bars to match the original CYC team logo, the seat is SE Racing Bolt and post is old school style laid back. Shimano MX old school brakes, TUF NECK Tiger 44T Cross bubble sprocket, stem, New old stock KMC Z410 gold chain included . TH old school anodized red KKT Tiawan rat trap pedals and seat post clamp may be originals. Red old school stem pad from late 70s in excellent shape. RAD PAD, Takagi MX cranks and Tange Ninja blade Forks.
