Among Nordic pottery collectors, ”alphabet vases” by Gunnar Nylund a ceramic artist representing Sweden in the 20th century with a classic form and a calm expression, are often of great interest. These hand-thrown or molded objects were marked underneath by three letter codes describing their shape. Each model was crafted in a few hundred to a few thousand pieces in the 1950s and 1960s, the golden age of Swedish pottery.

It is in very good condition. Please understand that the unevenness of the surface created during production and firing, as well as the appearance and unevenness of the color, are individual characteristics. Please check photos for your own impression.
