This is a mother-of-pearl and sterling silver cuff bracelet, a genuine Navajo vintage piece. The design is very similar to pieces by the Navajo artist Leo Yazzie, though it is not signed with a name and only marked “sterling” on the back.

The bracelet features an intricate scroll and leaf design, with great detail in its wire, scrolls and bead silverwork. The oval mother-of pearl center has a green-pinkish luster in strong light. It was made by a true Navajo artist, and not by a commercial imitator. It was made for a small wrist, but it is an open design so may fit slightly larger wrists. It was purchased at a California gallery in the late 20th century. A very elegant, artistic piece that is both traditional and unique.

Approx. Measurements: Oval, mother-of-pearl center is 1“ x ¾ “ (2,5 x 2 cm), the wrist circumference is SMALL – 7 ½ inch
