The Boss CE-1, released in Japan in 1976 during the “Golden Era” of Japanese audio equipment, is a rare and sought-after chorus effect pedal unit. This is the world’s first chorus effect pedal, using the circuit from the Roland Jazz Chorus chorus effect, and has since achieved legendary status. By virtue of its fantastic modulation, the CE-1 became sought after by musicians and producers. This is a great chorus unit unlike any other, and it’s pretty rare, even in Japan. This one is in very good condition, so don’t miss out!
This unit is in good condition, with some natural signs of age and use (please see photos), including some scratches, dents and coloration. There is a big hole on the front of the body (please see photos). It works perfectly and has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation.
