Lledo Days Gone Diecast Model
LP6-616 - Ford Model T Van

Walpole Bay Hotel

Jack Odell, one of the founders of the Matchbox diecast company, founded Lledo (Odell backwards) in 1982, and launched the "Days Gone" range of models in 1983, serving a market previously popularised by the Matchbox "Models of Yesteryear" series.

The Model T Ford Van has been a staple of the Days Gone range since 1983 and has appeared in hundreds of different liveries. The promotional market became Lledo's bread and butter, with the Model T Van proving a favourite for companies and organisations who would order limited runs of the model with their own livery.

This model, finished in burgundy and cream was a special release celebrating the success of the BBC TV show The House of Eliott. It was made in 1994, and has its own special box.

Excellent used condition in original box. Box has minor wear, but there are no serious rips or splits and no taped-up corners. There is a sticker on the base of the box with some writing, where a previous owner, an avid collector of Lledo models, has recorded brief details of the model. Model itself is clean and near mint condition. See photos - all photos show actual item.
