This listing is for a 1978 film schedule and CJA admissions card for The New Encore Cinema on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood, California.

This schedule is the 6th for the New Encore, as it is marked with Volume 1, No. 6.  

It covers the months of November and December of 1978 and features a retrospective of Greta Garbo and the films of director Frank Capra.

The schedule, as shown in the 1st photo, measures 11-1/2" wide by 17" tall and is in very good condition, with mild edge wear and minor creasing where folded.  It has two showings neatly bordered in a thin red marker on the back identifying the screenings that I attended.  The mailing label is still attached.

The admissions card is a Celluloid Junkies Anonymous (CJA) club membership card from 1978 as well. 

This membership card included 10 admissions, of which 3 were used. The 3 admissions, noted on the back next to each hole punched, occurred on Nov. 17th, 1978, (Greta Garbo), Dec. 8th (also Garbo) and Feb. 8th, 1979, (Fritz Lang). The schedule confirms the year.

The card measures 3-5/8" wide by 2-1/8" tall and is in excellent condition.
