This is an antique plate with gilt and biscuit decoration. The decoration consists of cherubs, winged cherub faces, floral garlands and pedestals holding bowls of flowers. There is a spurious iron red M. Imp le de Sevres mark, but was likely made by Samson Edme et Cue or Samson Ceramics. The plate measures 9.5" in diameter by 7/8" high.

This plate is reputed to have come from a show case in the Lord Baltimore Hotel of Baltimore Maryland at the time of its closing in 1982. It has been in storage for more than 40 years.
