Permet de remplacer le processeur Motorola 68000 de l'Atari Mega STE par un 68010.
100% fonctionnel, testé sur 1040 STE modifié avec TOS 2.06 et MegaSTE (TOS 2.06).
N'est pas compatible avec les 520/1040 STE standard avec TOS 1.06 et 1.62.
- Pour Mega STE avec TOS 2.06. Testé, fonctionne parfaitement.
- Environ 10% plus rapide qu'un 68000 à fréquence égale.
- Pratiquement 100 % compatible avec le 68000, sauf pour certains jeux et démos.
- Facile à installer (il suffit de retirer le 68000 et d'y placer le 68010)
- CPU à enclipser, sans soudure.
- Peut également fonctionner sur 520/1040 STE modifié avec TOS 2.06
- (n'est pas compatible avec les TOS inférieur à la version 2.06)

Note importante :
Les rares incompatibilités du 68010 sont surtout en mode 16 Mhz + cache sur MegaSTE.
-Bugs graphiques parfois sur le bureau GEM, certaines démos ou jeux incompatibles...
-Les jeux originaux sont souvent compatibles, mais ceux qui ont été modifiés / crackés peuvent parfois
être incompatibles, même sur STE à 8Mhz.

Comparatif 1040 STE (68010 8 Mhz + TOS 2.06) VS MegaSTE standard (68000 16 Mhz sans cache + TOS 2.06) :
Les tests GEMBENCH montrent que le gain de vitesse apporté par le 68010 sur STE équivaut presque à un
MegaSTE standard (68000) à 16 Mhz sans cache. Par contre à 16Mhz + cache, le MegaSTE reste bien plus rapide.

Important note:
The rare incompatibilities with the 68010 on MegaSTE are especially in mode 16 Mhz + cache:
-GEM desktop graphics bugs sometimes, some incompatible demos or games...
-The original games are often compatibles, but the games modified / cracked sometimes are not compatibles, even on STE at 8Mhz)

Comparison 1040 STE (68010 8 Mhz + TOS 2.06) VS standard MegaSTE (68000 16 Mhz without cache + TOS 2.06):
GEMBENCH tests show that the speed gain provided by the 68010 on STE is almost equivalent to a
standard MegaSTE (68000) at 16 Mhz without cache. At 16Mhz + cache, the MegaSTE (68000) is still much faster.
