Action/thriller Taken sees a former spy, played by Liam Neeson, relying on his old skills from his past life to save his estranged daughter (Maggie Grace), who has been forced into the slave trade by criminals while on a trip to Paris with her best friend. The soundtrack has an original score composed, produced and arranged by French composer Nathaniel Mechaly, who is best known for Revolver and La Boîte Noire. The album also features international hit makers The Hives, Lupe Fiasco and German star Joy Denalane.
