Nuphil's Nu50 PNCover displays the cupro-nickel dollar coin of 1972 from the uncirculated souvenir sets, of which only 15,000 were struck.  These sets contain coins of higher quality than any previously issued in this grade.  The design is that of the 1967 and 1971, with the reverse by William M. Gardner of London, and showing the N.Z. coat of arms surmounted by a crown and wreathed with fern fronds.

The stamp used is the current $1.00 definitive with the Geothermal Power motif.

As with other Nuphil PNCovers, Nu50 was posted, complete, by registered mail on the official release date of the 1972 coins, and is back-stamped at Sydenham, the delivery office.  The Registration receipt accompanies each cover.
