This is a very beautiful and rare antique piece most likely from the later period of the Ottoman Empire.

Unusual blue and gold woven outer fabric with gold threaded loop edging and vibrant blue silk lining.

Silk and gold coloured metallic threads.

Dated c1880-1900

Ottoman Empire (but no exact country of origin known), possibly Greece

Size XS-S

In excellent, wearable antique condition. One loop has come loose at the armpit, and there are one or two threads around the neck, but otherwise the condition is very good indeed.
