In 2008, iitalia commemorated the 50th anniversary of Wirkkala's Ovalis vase by reissuing them in a variety of colors and sizes.
This is one of those vases in the very rare moss green glass. It is the smallest one produced at 100mm tall (4 inches).
1958 originals of this vase are found in MOMA and Philadelphia Museum of Art.
The vase is numbered and machine-signed (since Wirkkala was dead in 2008). It comes in its original box with the original packing material. The iitalia sticker is intact. The vase is like new, never used.
A beautiful find for the discerning Wirkkala collector.
