Description:
This adaptor will mount any M42 lens to any Sony NEX E Mount Camera Made from alluminium alloy the adaptor fits the camera body physically but not electrically, M42 lenses do not share any data with the camera.
Please notice:
Your M42 lens with this adaptor on it's own will not be able to focus to infinity, the adapter is not meant to be mounted directly on M42 lenses as it won't provide the correct flange distance to focus correctly.
It needs to be used with an M42 extension such as a focus helicoid or extension tube (not supplied).
Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, nor any other functions will not operate correctly while using this adapter. In this case "stop-down mode" will need to be used when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. You can shoot with manual mode or aperture priority mode.
