This is an original book plate printed in 1914, New York.  It is not a modern copy. 
There is a description of the photo printed on the reverse side, which does not show through to the front.
This plate is unmounted, and suitable for framing.

OPS Condition Grade:  Very Good (may have minor defects or light blemishes in the image area, and moderate defects in the outer margins and edges).
Please note: This plate was originally bound in a book, and will have a thin reinforcement strip along the back edge, and small holes where the binding cords went through. 

About:  The Mentor Magazine was a periodical published by The Mentor Association in the early 1900's. It was established for the development of a popular interest in art, literature, science, history, nature and travel. The issues each featured beautiful illustrations, photogravures and lithographs which could be removed for framing and display.
