This auction is for a set of Bruno Cross WIN, PLACE and SHOW horses that cover from 1950 to 1989.  This covers the very best horses from those years no matter where in the world they are found at.  The U.S. and North America is a huge supplier of great horses to the world but people in Europe, Asia and South America might argue with you if you say the US is the best.

With this set, not only do you get the best American horses from 1950-1989, you get any and all triple crown winners of that period as well as Horses who ran great races in Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, South America and more.  

AS A BIG BONUS, I will include a huge PDF map of the exact track used in the game.  You will also get the rules to the game in PDF format and you will get the fictitious horses which came with the original set.  That means if you don't have the game, you won't need to rush out and buy it.  Just print it up, find some dice and begin racing.  if you really want a physical copy of the game, it can be found on E-Bay but I will give you what you need except the dice (common six sided dice) so that you don't have to purchase a set.

For those of you who don't know Bruno or WPS.... there was a game called Win, Place and Show which was published for many years about American Saddle racing.  Bruno Cross is a mathematician/statistician who is also a horse racing fan.  He loves horses and enjoyed this game.  

Every year, he makes a new set of charts for the last year to go along with those he has already made.  Each year includes 30 of the best horses of that year from around the world (not just the USA).  There are six 2-year olds, 18 3-year olds and six 4-year and older horses.  Included is both Colt and fillies (male and female) of the best horses from anywhere in the world they raced horses.

Not only do you get American horses, you get European horses (England, Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, etc.) as well as Asian horses (Japan, Hong Kong and others).  You also get South American horses (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, etc.).  You will see the best of the best.

This set starts in 1950 and continues complete all the way to 1989.  There are 40 years of great horse racing portrayed.  On the back of the charts are short descriptions of the racing and events for that year.  You will get famous horses like Affirmed, Seattle Slew, Secretariat and many others.  European horses are in here like Sea Bird, Sea The Stars and Shergar.  There a distance horses, sprinters, Milers, Triple Crown winners... etc.  There are so many horses you will likely never be able to race them all.

In the pictures you see a sample of some of the charts.  You also see a notebook printed to show you what 40 years of racing looks like.  However, we are not selling printed charts. You are purchasing PDF charts and you can print as many of them as you want to.

When you purchase this gigantic set, you will receive a CD inside a jewel case shipped in a protective envelope with  files on the CD.  There are no refunds.
