This DVD (and any other DVD released anywhere in the world) will play just fine on any multi-region DVD player, bought in USA or elsewhere. It will also play on most computers' DVD drives. Some consumers actually own a multi-region DVD player, without knowing it. All you need to do if you own such Philips, Akai, CyberHome or other DVD player is to use your remote control to switch it to multi-region mode. As such features are almost always not documented by the DVD player's manufacturer, we'd recommend you check your DVD player's capabilities by searching the web for the words 'videohelp DVD Player and Blu-ray Player region codes' and choosing the very first link found.
For our USA customers, if you need an advise for a inexpensive ($30-$40) US DVD player, please feel free to contact us or to read our recommenations here: Our DVD player recommendations. Please keep in mind that we do not sell DVD players.

This DVD does not contain pornographic material and may be lawfully sold to and viewed by minors.

Treasure Island (1999)
In this adaptation of the classic tale by Robert Louis Stevenson of pirates and greed, young Jim Hawkins and his friends embark on a fateful voyage after Captain Billy Bones leaves him with a map to a buried treasure. Dangerous complications ensue when pirates led by Long John Silver, who are part of the crew, attempt to sabotage the expedition and claim the treasure for themselves.

Spy Kids (2001)
Carmen and Juni think their parents are boring. Little do they know that in their day, Gregorio and Ingrid Cortez were the top secret agents from their respective countries. They gave up that life to raise their children. Now, the disappearances of several of their old colleagues forces the Cortez' return from retirement. What they didn't count on was Carmen and Juni joining the "family business."

Tommy and the Wildcat (1998)
Tommy's father is a zoologist working on a wild animal reserve in northern Finland. He wants to discover whether the lynx can be reintroduced into the wilderness. But the locals are worried the lynx could kill their animals. When the experiment fails, the inhabitants demand it should be sold. But Tommy has grown fond of the lynx and sets it free. In the rugged, wintery countryside, the lynx has no knowledge of survival and a poacher is after it. Tommy must find the lynx first.

Rent-a-Kid (1995)
In this light-hearted comedy, an ingenious salesman devises a clever scheme for finding homes for orphans. A pair of yuppies, trying to decide whether or not to become parents, use the plan to test out three rambunctious children in their home.

Treasure Island (1999)
Film adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic adventure yarn. Young Jim Hawkins becomes involved in skullduggery on the high seas when ailing pirate Billy Bones (Patrick Bergin) arrives to stay at his grandmother's inn, 'The Admiral Benbow'. Bones is being hunted down by his former shipmates, who want to get their hands on a map revealing the secret location of famous pirate Flint's treasure. Bones gives Jim the map, and he is joined by Doctor Livesey and Squire Trelawney when he goes in search of the island where the treasure is hidden. However, also hot on the trail is rascally one-legged pirate Long John Silver (Jack Palance), posing as ship's cook and ready to call his fellow crewmen to mutiny when the time is right!

Spy Kids (2001)
Gregorio and Ingrid Cortez are the world's best secret agents. Their mission is to assassinate each other. When they get within one inch, they fall in love. They marry, and have two kids, Carmen and Juni. They don't tell their kids. Ten years later, they are called into a mission. When their Uncle Felix babysits the Cortez kids, and rogue agents invade the house, Uncle Felix reveals the truth, their parents are spies and were just kidnapped, and Felix is not their uncle. Carmen and Juni escape, and try to rescue Mom and Dad, and save the world.

Tommy and the Wildcat (1998)
Twelve-year-old Tommy reluctantly moves with his father from the big city to a small Lapp village - the childhood home of his mother, who has recently died. The village is close to the northernmost wildlife reserve in the world, where Tommy's father will be working on a project to release a captive lynx into the wild. The boy gradually falls under the spell of his new surroundings, and discovers that his mother was involved in protecting the local lynx, and, when his father's project fails, and the lynx is about to be sold, he decides to set it free himself. A dramatic series of events ensues, and Tommy, through his brave actions, regains the trust and respect of his family and the village.
