Stepper motor is an open-loop control motor that converts pulse signal into angular displacement or linear displacement. It is the main executive component of modern digital program control systems and is widely used.

FEATURES

Driving Method

Stepper motor can not be directly connected to power frequency AC or DC power supply to work, using a special stepper motor driver, which is composed of pulse generation control unit, power drive unit, protection unit, etc. The driving unit is directly coupled with the stepping motor, which can also be understood as the power interface of the stepping motor microcomputer controller.

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

  • It can provide fast rising and falling speed of current, and make current wave type warp close to rectangle. There is a circuit for releasing current during the cut-off period to reduce the back EMF at both ends of the winding and speed up the current attenuation.
