Metal appears to be a heavy pot metal .. Looks like old lead in it's coloring of dark gray

Preowned Antique - Metal is very gray .. black with green through the marble : has some age discolor - See photos of the underside .. Around the center disc the pot metal is cracked in one place.. the piece is very strong
