Walter Bosse, born in 1904, was an Austrian ceramic artist and designer. Born as the son of two painters, his career path was almost embedded in his genes. After World War I, Bosse attended the Viennese School of Arts, afterwards the School of Arts in Munich. At the beginning, Bosse designed ceramic figurines, which attracted attention due to their bizarre note. He designed for the porcelain manufactory Augarten, for Metzler &Ortloff in Ilmenau, for Goldscheider or W. Goebel in Oeslau. In the late 40's, he designed brass miniatures in animal shape. From 1950 to 1972, Walter Bosse worked as freelance designer for the “Staatliche Majolika-Manufaktur” in Karlsruhe. In 1979, he died impoverished in Iserlohn.

Deviations from the contract must be agreed upon separately with the art dealer referred to below.

Closing the sale


The binding time from the creation of the offer  is 14 days for the client and the art dealer. The contract is concluded through an order confirmation from the art dealer.


Right of withdrawal from the purchase contract


The art dealer is entitled to withdraw from the purchase contract if bankruptcy or execution proceedings are initiated against the purchaser. Likewise, a delay in acceptance or payment entitles you to withdraw. In the event of payment difficulties on the part of the customer, all outstanding contractual conditions or services remain in the art dealer's right of reservation, or to demand securities or advance payments or to withdraw from the contract subject to an agreed period of grace.
Printing, typesetting, writing and calculation errors on the homepage also entitle the art dealer to withdraw from the contract.


Purchase prices


All prices are fixed prices including taxes, which are valid until revoked by the art dealer.

The purchase price agreed between the art dealer and the customer is due with immediate effect of the purchase contract. A booking receipt on the listed business account, a check payment or a signed credit card receipt are considered to be the conclusion of the contract.
The payment method specified in the order confirmation is valid.
If there is a delay in payment, the art dealer is entitled to use the goods elsewhere.

The purchase prices agreed between the art dealer and the customer do not include the costs of delivery and any desired transport insurance.

Safety guarantee

If the information on the homepage does not match the actual quality of the goods, the customer is entitled to return them to the art dealer, stating the reasons given. The payments made by the customer to date will then be refunded. Excluded from this guarantee, however, are technical color deviations on the homepage from the original, age-related signs of wear and normal wear and tear that do not significantly affect the value of the goods sold.
If there is a complaint about defects, the art dealer is obliged to remedy the defect at its own discretion. Replacement delivery is entitled. If the art dealer fails to fulfill this, the customer is entitled to withdraw from the contract.
Further claims of the purchaser are excluded, regardless of the legal basis, in particular damage that did not arise from the object of sale itself, as well as lost profits or other financial losses of the purchaser.


Place of jurisdiction


The responsible commercial court in Vienna is named as the place of performance and exclusive place of jurisdiction for all claims in connection with the conclusion of the contract.

All data specified in the purchase contract is processed and stored by the art dealer with computer support. As long as a contract is valid, the customer undertakes to inform the art dealer of any name or address changes.
If the purchaser fails to do this, the conditions stated in the default of acceptance apply.

All items are guaranteed antique and authentic. Each item is described very accurately, and any damage or restoration will be mentioned in our item description. As you are bidding on antique and mostly pre-owned items, normal and usual evidence of use will not be mentioned in our descriptions, as you will be able to see the exact condition of all items accurately in the detailed pictures displayed below the item description . These pictures will enable you to make your own judgement.

 

SHIPPING:
We ship worldwide through the Austrian Postal Service (with comprehensive insurance coverage, referring to the International Delivery Contract) within 2 days of receipt of your payment. If you prefer to choose a different shipping method, please contact us via e-mail, which will enable us to calculate the exact costs for you!

 

INSURANCE:
We require full insurance coverage on all sales; the insurance amount is included in packing/insurance/express air mail shipping through the Austrian Postal Service. If you prefer an alternate shipping method, please contact us so that we can calculate any additional costs to you.

 

RETURN POLICY:
Customers will be allowed to return ordered items within 5 days after receipt - only in the event that our item description is incorrect.
Otherwise, please contact us to discuss individual circumstances and the possibility of making special arrangements. The costs of insurance and delivery are a service, and are therefore non-refundable.

 

DAMAGED ITEMS:
We ship worldwide, and take great care to package our items very carefully for shipping long distances. Please inspect your ordered item immediately upon receipt (you can decline acceptance when the parcel shows obvious damage). We ship every item fully insured. In the case of damage during transport you will have to take the following steps: Please take photographs of the outer packaging materials, take detailed photographs of the damaged item, and please keep all packaging for any further inquiries. Please contact your local Post Office that delivered the parcel with the damaged item, and fill in a "damage report" form. The Post Office will then supply you with a confirmation.
Please then send all these documents to us via Express Air Mail, e-mail, or fax, and we will then be able to contact our local Post Office to claim on the insurance. In the case of possibility of restoration, please send us an estimate of the restorations costs of a local restorer - (written on the restorer`s business letterhead) - and / or statement of the diminution of item`s value that resulted from the damage it is sustained during transit.

WIRE BANK TRANSFERS:
