Special Note:
1) There is a water float in the bottom of fuel filter housing. If there is water in fuel tank, it will enter filter housing and deposit at its bottom and make the water float go up. You can easily see it and clear it up whenever necessary.
2) Recently many economic low quality in-line short straight filters have been used in China-made diesel generators. For this economic type of filter system, water will enter fuel injector together with diesel fuel and corrode fuel injector, especially fuel injector nozzle, thus make it fail quickly. The most obvious failure phenomenon is heavy white smoke puffing out of generators.  It will also bring about much headache for maintenance due to NO FUEL VALVE installed on these units.
3) It is also used as a upgrade for a fuel cock/valve assembly attached to the bottom of a fuel tank that has NO FUEL WATER SEPARATOR either.
