- Esab® Arcaloy® Stainless Steel Stick Electrode measuring 5/32" X 14" has a minimum carbon content of .04% and is similar to Arcaloy® 316L except the chemistry is balanced to give a weld deposit with a minimum ferrite content of 5 FN. Electrode can be used to weld type 304L stainless steel where the presence of molybdenum is not detrimental. It can also be used for welding 316 and 316L stainless steel when bead appearance is significant. It is associated with E316-16/E316L-16 AWS classification and meets ASME II SFA A5.4, ASME IX F No. 5 approvals. Electrode comes in a 10 lb hermetically sealed container.
