I gave it a light hone to get the surface rust off and it looks great. 1 cylinder has slight rust but will come out with a longer hone or run time. No need to bore. STD BORE. Guaranteed to be a good core with no cracks or anything. Gasket surfaces have NOT been cleaned. It will be oiled up and shrinkwrapped before being put on the shelf until the buyer receives it. This should be fully cleaned once the buyer receives it.
