I had a lucky find at an estate auction: a collection of collars and dickies from the 1910-30s.  This one is a large collar in Edwardian style.  It has a net base that is heavily embroidered with floral lace, and it has mellowed to a cream color.  It measures 25" long in total.  At the back there's a narrower band of net 1.25" wide.  As it goes to the front it widens out to be 5" wide with heavy flower forms, and then it narrows down at the ends.  There is a bias band for attaching it to your garment.  It's absolutely lovely!

This is in very good antique condition with no stains, rips, or holes ; it is clean and crisp.  This will be great to give an antique or period look to a plain garment - or just imagine how pretty this will look on a jacket or judicial robe, RBG style!  I'll be listing more of these lovely pieces, so stay tuned and check my listings.
