Maker: Yamaha

Model: SJ-800 Super Jam

Condition: excellent

Description:

In the late 70s and early 80s while most manufacturers were consumed with copying Fender and Gibson's lines (aka the lawsuit era) Yamaha was actually doing something different and putting out new concepts and designs - many of the well ahead of their time. This 1980 Super Jam is no exception; a tele-ish body shape with strat-like contours and playability featuring ahead of the curve designs like a spoke wheel truss adjustment, recessed bridge, push button coil splitting on the neck pickup and top shelf workmanship. This example is in very clean condition and seems to have gone mostly unplayed. Finish is very clean throughout and the frets are in excellent condition. Has been fully inspected and setup here by our team at Coast Sonic and is ready for a new home. Includes padded gig bag.
