Back in the year 2000, artist Susan Lordi created Willow Tree. Her creations were meant to represent feelings– the kind that would make people feel closer to each other, and, if possible, to heal wounds between them. Ultimately, these figurines' purpose was (and is) to help build relationships and bring back memories.
