Reproduction of an original antique street map produced in the 1900's by the Bibliograph Institute, Leipzig, Germany. The beautifully detailed street map shows the location of iconic buildings such as the Flat Iron building (completed in 1902) and Grand Central Station and also shows the, yet to be completed, Manhattan Bridge and Blackwalls Island Bridge that were completed in 1909. Therefore the date of the map can be reasonably accurately dated between 1902 and 1909. Of course, at this time the Empire State and Chrysler buildings had not yet been constructed.

Enlarged from an original map and printed onto high quality 170 gsm artist paper, the map has been lightly restored to maintain the look of the original and will look great mounted and framed - suitable for standard A3 sized picture frame. Border around the edge will assist in mounting and framing. Watermark "Phil's Ephemera" will not be on the map

Size: Printed onto A3 (16.5" x 11.5" 415mm x 295mm) paper, including border. Actual measurement of map approximately 16" x 10.25" (400mm x 260mm)

Provenance: Bibliograph Institute, Leipzig, Germany circa 1902-1909

Posting and Packaging: Due to its larger size it will be carefully rolled and packed in a sturdy tube and posted by Royal Mail. Happy to combine postage for multiple items purchased, where possible. Please contact me for amended invoice prior to making payment.

Please feel free to ask any questions and contact me if there are any issues with the map. Every effort will be made to resolve any problems.
