Drinking Water and Ice Supplies

Up for sale is a very nice copy of the 1891 book, Drinking-Water and Ice Supplies and their Relations to Health and Disease, by Theophil Mitchell Prudden, printed in London by G.P. Putnam’s Sons.  It concerns the procurement of drinking water and ice, and their relationship to health issues in the late 19th Century. Theophil Mitchell Prudden (1849-1924) was a professor at Columbia University and the Rockefeller Institute.

The 148 page book is in good condition, with minor rubbing and wear to the boards and spine.  The hinges are in good condition.  The pages are clean, with a little age-related toning, and there are occasional black-and-white engravings and diagrams. It measures 5 x 7 inches.

Thanks for looking.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Shipping and handling is included.
