engine and all attached accessories to aid the process.
Please keep in mind that you will only receive what is pictured unless stated otherwise in the
description. We guarantee that all parts we sell are in good working condition unless otherwise
noted. However, we can only guarantee that the part(s) will fit the vehicle(s) listed in the description.
If your vehicle was originally equipped with a different part(s) listed, it is your responsibility to consult
a dealer to see if it will fit your application.

Important Information About Engine Warranty (Warranty applies to parts that arrive
defective/damaged or become defective within the warranty period):
Thank you for considering our engine warranty. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects in the
Engine Block, Cylinder Head(s), Head Gasket(s), Crankshaft, Pistons, Rods, Bearings, Oil Pump,
Camshaft(s), Valves, and lifters. However, it's important to note that the engine you receive may or
may not include additional accessories and extra parts. If included, these parts are sold AS-IS with
NO WARRANTY and were included to help protect the engine during storage and shipping.
Examples of these non-warranty parts include switches, sensors, cables, coils, wires, injectors,
electronics, belts (including timing belt/chain), hoses, water pumps, brackets, intake/exhaust
manifolds, oil pans, and turbos/superchargers (if equipped). To aid in installation, you get to keep
your current engine and all attached accessories. It's also important to note that our warranty does
NOT cover labor, diagnostic, towing, or rental car costs.
In order to ensure that our warranty remains valid, we ask that you follow our installation checklist
(failure to complete these steps will result in the voiding of the warranty):
- The checklist includes determining why the original engine failure occurred and making
appropriate repairs
- Ensuring that this engine is the same application as the one being replaced
- Clearing all computer diagnostic codes from the vehicle prior to installing
- Exchanging the oil pan and pick up tube
- Inspecting and replacing gaskets & seals (front seal, rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, oil
pan gaskets)
- Applying sealant to crankshaft bolts that are drilled through
- Installing a new thermostat & gasket (warranty will be void if engine heat tab is melted or
removed)
- Replacing the timing belt
- Removing all cap-plugs orifice covers
- Replacing the water pump
- Installing replacement sparkplugs & wires
Exchanging the flywheel and bolts
- Exchanging attached accessory items to ensure proper fit (mounts, intake manifold, exhaust
manifold, distributor, sensors)
- Disabling fuel/ignition before attempting to start the engine to allow the oil to prime as
indicated by the manufacturer
- Replacing engine oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filters, coolant-antifreeze
- Draining excess oil and coolant from the exhaust system
- Replacing the radiator or external cooler if equipped with an engine oil cooler
- Ensure the cooling system is flushed and functioning properly
** The warranty does NOT cover labor, diagnostics, towing, rental car, or any other expense related
to an item being defective/damaged.

For LTL Freight Delivery, please refer to the shipping cost at the top of this eBay listing.
Keep in mind that the delivery, address must be able to accommodate an 18-wheeler-sized
semi-trailer truck. If the delivery address is a commercial business, a valid business name and
phone number are required for a smooth process. Lack of a valid business name and phone number
will delay your order. Please provide the business name and phone number as a "Note to Seller"
during eBay checkout.
For residential addresses, the load is curbside delivery ONLY, and someone over 18 must be
present for delivery. A daytime phone number is required for scheduling an appointment with the
carrier. Please make sure your voicemail box is set up to receive messages. It's important to note
that we cannot ship to AFO APO military addresses or P.O. Boxes.
If you prefer customer pick-up, we offer it for free. However, please do not go to the location until
you receive a Proof of Purchase Email from 2nd Chance Auto Salvage stating the part is ready for
pick-up. The eBay QR code will be required for purchases made for pick-up at our location along
with an equipped transportation method. A few examples are pick-up trucks, box trucks, box vans, or
trailers. Failure to meet these requirements may result in delays to the purchase and pick-up
process.
You must provide our authorized Proof of Purchase email at the time of pick up in order for your item
to be released. If not presented, you will be turned away until you have provided the Proof of
Purchase (this is for your own protection). The Proof of Purchase will be emailed within 2 business
days of receipt of full payment. Finally, please note that parts being picked up at 2nd Chance Auto
Salvage are not prepared for shipment. They will not have any packaging included. If you will need
this type of service, please contact us. There will be a handling/packaging charge based on the size
and weight of the part. We are unable to guarantee that the location will allow staff to assist in the
loading of freight parts into a customer's vehicle. Pick-up is available on Saturdays between 8:00 AM
- 12:00 PM.
