Walt Disney's Brer Rabbit Song of the South The Better Little Book #1426 (1947, Whitman Publishing Company) - This issue features content based on the "Song of the South" movie produced by Walt Disney in 1946.


This issue grades about 3.5 VG-/4.0 VG.  The cover, which is somewhat faded, and all pages, which are tan-colored, are attached.  The front and back cover corners all have wear and rounding.  The front cover top center edge has some color loss with an indent between "Walt" and "Disney" along with an approx. 1" crease that runs down to the bottom of "Rabbit", there is an approx. 1/4" tear and some paper loss at the bottom left-hand edge, an approx. 2" crease runs up from the bottom edge to above Brer Rabbit's right foot, the top left-hand corner, right-hand edge and bottom corner have some color loss; the inside front cover bottom left-hand corner is abraded, there is an approx. 1" tear about a quarter into the area; several internal pages have dog-eared top corners; the back inside cover has an approx. 2" tear and is tearing away from the binding; the back cover top left-hand corner has an approx. 1/4" crease/bend, the bottom left- and right-hand corners have heavy wear.
