Electronic Specialties rebuild kit for the Collins 516F-2 power supply replaces all under chassis capacitors, selenium rectifier and resistors (except bias adjust potentiometer) with upgrade industrial parts  and ADDS a power relay to save wear on the power switch in the transmitter or transceiver plus AC line safety rated bypass capacitors.  The circuit board is already assembled and wave soldered ready for installation. Existing Collins wiring attaches easily to circuit board to locations which match up with locations of wires in the original chassis.  Step by step installation instructions INCLUDED guide you through the installation process from removal of old parts to installing and testing the new circuit board.  The typical installation in a 516F-2 supply (NOT INCLUDED) is shown.  Reading, understanding, and following the included instruction is essential to successful installation.  Also the ability to read and understand schematic wiring diagram is essential
This kit works well with the EITHER rectifier tubes as originally designed OR any of the available solid state plug in tube replacements.
The kit as shown is for 120VAC ONLY but 240VAC model is available on request.
Major rewiring or hacking of the original wiring is NOT required.  Some mechanical skill IS required to drill and 4-40 tap four holes to mount the board in the chassis.  The standoffs DO require a tapped hole, they are NOT self tapping.  Also, I repeat,  the ability to read and understand schematic wiring diagram IS essential.  It is impossible for me to write instructions for every supply depending on what hacks have already been performed on vintage equipment.  I try to anticipate but it is impossible.
USPS shipping is NOT INCLUDED in the price.
