Sebastian Miniatures are not only rare, but not two are alike.  The Sebastian process has been developed over the past seventy years.  Prescott Baston researched each idea and then sculpts it using hard clay to capture delicate detail.  A mold is prepared from the original sculpture.  A liquid substance of fine Ceramastone particles in suspension is poured into the mold and allowed to harden.  When it is removed from the mold, it is refined to remove any irregularities.  Then the piece is handpainted and sealed with a glaze that preserves the detail and color indefinitely. This process leaves the bases with a dusty/dirty look but each piece is in pristine condition in its original box.

This offering shows a Cow Hand, complete with chaps, a Lasso and a nice cowboy hat.  The name of the piece is engraved on the front.

In the original box.  Piece measures approximately 3" high.  Weighs 2 ounces before packaging.  Listing code PJ220521.144k.
