Sel Seal Leather Repair Paint - 60ml

Once your repair is complease our leather repair paint will hide the restoration work leaving a clear satin finish, this all in one paint aombinds the paint ans seal in one, so there is no need for extra layers after applied.


Leather Degreaser - 60ml

Our liquid leather degreaser will remover the contaminations from the leather surface, this ensures a good adhesive layer for the repair products in this kit to adhear to.


Leather Alcohole Cleaner - 60ml

Designed to remove contamination like dirt and grime from the effected area.

Leather Binder

Creates a stronger bonding for damaged leathers, fibres will bond together and combining this with the sanding process can create a smooth finish before applying the leather paint.


600 & 1200 Sand Paper

there are 2x 600 & 2 x 1200 sand paper in the kit.


Spongew and Cleaning cloth

for apploying the content of the kit to the leather steering wheel.

Instructions


Step One - sand the Effected area

Using the 600 grit sand paper rub the effected area, don't use to much pressure when doing this at first, once you start to se the leather smooth out you can go to the next process.


Step 2 - Degrease the leather

Using the cloth provided apply the leather degreaser, use circular patterns to remove any grease form the leather surface, dark areas should appear lighter as the grease is removed, repeat the process until you are happy this has been completely removed, use new parts of the cloth every time.


Step 3 - Alcohol Cleaner

Use the alcohol cleaner to remove any further contaminations, and the previous stages of the repair process, use a clean part of a cloth to do this, don't apply the cleaner direct to the leather.


Step 4 - Leather Binder

Apply the binder to a clean part of a cloth and smooth this over the repair, this will help with creating a strong fixing surface for the next stage and also strengthen the fibres in the leather, use the 1200 grit sand paper to smooth the area if needed, wipe away any dust from the sanding and apply another light coat of binder, then allow this to dry fully.


Step 4 - Leather Repair Paint

Apply the paint using the sponge provided, apply light coats one at a time and allow them to fully cure before applying another, keep repeating the process until you are happy with the finish, and then allow this to fully cure for 24 hours.
