This item may have held a pin cushion at one time (search for elephant pin cushion) or was originally made to hold trinkets.

The trunk broke off at one time and was reglued.

This is an older piece; very solid/heavy for its size and made of metal (brass?).

Measures 3" tall & 4" wide

Felt bottom to prevent scratching.
