NT909 allows for the coding and programming of a replacement control module or changing previously stored incorrect coding. Coding also is known as Teach-in Program or Component Adaptation. It is the process of selecting and activating one program for a specific vehicle from a set of programs that the factory installed in the control module. This allows one control module to be used for different models, countries, and emission applications. Programming is the process of taking a blank control module and then adding the correct vehicle program to memory.

NT909 is a bi-directional diagnostic scan tool ( No Extra Fee ), that allows you to request information or command a module to perform specific tests and functions while observing the resulting data at the same time. Bi-directional Control (also referred to as Active Tests) function is a commonly-used function for Mechanic/Workshop/Repairer, can save you a load of time and help you get through more jobs every day.

ECU Coding:
The E/CU Coding of this diagnostic tool can work on most vehicle makes. It is used to reprogram adaptive data for vehicle control modules after repairs or replacements of vehicle parts.
Active Test:
Active Tests, also known as Actuator Tests, are bi-directional diagnostic tests on vehicle systems and component. The tests let you to use the scanner temporarily activate or control a vehicle system or component, and when you exit the test, the system/component returns to normal operation. Some tests display a command to the operator. For example, if “Press Brake Pedal” displays, the operator has to press and hold the brake pedal and then continue. The sequence, number and type of tests are dictated by the control module. On some systems, the actuator tests cannot be restarted until the ignition key is switched off for some time. Alternatively, briefly start and run the engine, shut down, turn the ignition to the run position, then re-initiate the actuator tests.
The tests activate a component, but they do not check if the component is working correctly. Make sure the components to be tested are in good condition and correctly mounted.
MATCHING: This function matches and synchronizes the components with each module after you replace the module,such as: Gearbox Matching / Air Suspension Matching / Seat Matching / Head light Fitting / Door and Window Initialization Study / Sunroof Initialization / Injector Calibration / Multimedia Video Reset / Cluster Reset / Immobilizer Service / Tire Change Reset...etc
Before removing each control unit and component, the bi-directional control would be a better option to locate the problems.

- Oil Reset: reset the oil life system and turn off the oil light after oil or oil filter replacements.
- EPB: reset the brake pad after replacing the brake pad, the servo motor, etc., deactivate/activate the brake control system, assist with brake fluid control, open and close brake pads, etc.
- TPMS: reset the tire pressure and turn off the tire pressure fault indicator.
- BMS: reset the monitoring unit of the car battery after replacing battery or battery monitoring sensors.、Brake/ABS Bleed: bleed the brake system when the ABS system contains air to restore its braking sensitivity.
- DPF: Regeneration: clear particulate matter from the DPF filter through continuous combustion oxidation mode to stabilize the filter performance.
- Injector Coding: write the actual code of the fuel injection nozzle or rewrite the code in the E/CU to the code corresponding to the fuel nozzle of each cylinder after replacing the E/CU and the fuel injector, to accurately control or correct the fuel injection amount of each cylinder.
- SAS Calibration: calibrate the steering angle after replacing steering related parts.
- Suspension Level Calibration: adjust the vehicle height sensor for level calibration when replacing the vehicle height sensor or control module in the air suspension system.
- Throttle Adaption: Initialize the throttle actuators so that the “learned” values stored on E/CU are returned to the default state.
- Sunroof Initialization: initialize the sunroof data to set the sunroof lock off, close in rain, memory function of sliding/tilting sunroof, outside temperature threshold, etc.
