Jan Czop's album "The color of the army of the Kingdom of Poland 1815-1830 and in the Polish-Russian war of 1831" (526 silhouettes of soldiers) is the last part of a series of three albums depicting a Polish soldier over a period of one hundred and thirty years, from the beginnings of the formation of his uniform in the 18th century to the Polish-Russian war in 1831, which closed a certain period of Polish military.
There is an interesting overlap in the cut and color of the uniforms from 1815–1830 elements of Old Polish and Napoleonic traditions as well as Russian influences.
In the appendices to the album, copies of the regulations of the Polish authorities on the organization of units of new formations participating in the Polish-Russian war in 1831 were placed.
