This auction is for a 1st Edition screenprint of The Thing by Randy Ortiz. Randy Ortiz was commissioned by Mondo to create this screenprint for a special screening of The Thing at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood in May 2013.
The screening marked the third night of EntertainmentWeekly's inaugural CapeTown Film Festival. John Carpenter was in attendance and participated in a Q&A after the screening.
Shipping
The Thing screenprint will be rolled
in kraft paper and shipped in a reinforced mailing tube USPS Priority
Mail with insurance.
Medium Prints
Medium and large-sized prints are rolled in kraft paper with acid-free tissue paper protecting the print.
Mailing Tubes
The prints are then bubble wrapped and placed into a reinforced mailing tube.
Small Prints
Smaller prints are placed in a mylar sleeve, mounted on reinforced cardboard, wrapped in bubble wrap, and placed in a cardboard envelope.
