Up for sale is a wonderful antique 9 A.D. handmade Chinese clay Han Dynasty sculptural Buddha head.
It's made with exquisite detailing throughout featuring a real gold application and polychrome finish and has acquired a lovely patina from age.
The statue is mounted to a handmade modern wooden base and displays nicely.
The head alone measures 2 3/8 inches tall and measures 6 inches tall with the base.
It does have some ware and cracks as to be expected.
