This great old high school yearbook is the publication for that year's students at Melvindale High School in the industrial city of Melvindale Michigan back then. This school is still a great place for learning, and they're keeping up their traditions. This 1957 yearbook captures a time that is quintessential 1950's. The slick hair, the girls in their long skirts & Saddle Shoes, the flat tops, and PLAID shirts on the boys. It is definitely the 50's. There are nice photographs of the sports, clubs, events, and shots of all the seniors thru freshmen. This yearbook is fun to go through. Interesting view of looks & social norms of the day. Lots of sports and other fun stuff!
This book is fairly clean and well preserved on the inside. There is definitely SOME soiling, but nothing too obtrusive. There are a few pages with autographs of faculty & staff, and one autograph in the rear by a friend, but not all full. SEE THE PHOTOS. The cover and binding are very strong and holding fast. This book will make a fine addition to your collection

This book's interior is in GOOD condition. There is some mild wear inside, and this book was obviously read back in the day. But it is in remarkably strong condition, and there is nothing that will keep you from enjoying the content. The binding is strong, and the internal pages are not yellowed or brittle at all. Please see the photos to get a good indication of the condition.
