Due to the increase in volume of packages being shipped through
the US Postal System, shipping times have occasionally been longer than those
estimated by either eBay or the USPS tracking tool.

Here is an antique or vintage (nearly antique) celluloid divided
box with an unusual hinged lid.
This type of celluloid with the fine parallel lines was also
referred to as "French Ivory", as it was made to resemble the
rare and expensive natural material.
No makers mark to help date this box, but this type of celluloid was
popular from the late 19th century up until the 1940's.

This box measures about 3.5" by just over 2.5" by about 1.25".

This was used for decades and has acquired scuffs and some staining
from this use.
One of the small celluloid "caps" that covered the screw on the hinge
has gone missing. Photo #14 shows the remaining covered screw, and
photo #15 shows the screw on the other side of the box that is uncovered.
Photos #16 through #20 show close-up shots of the scuffs, stains, and dings
on the top and bottom of the box.
I do not know how (or if), celluloid can be cleaned of stains safely,
so I haven't attempted to remove the stains.
Photo #21 shows two miniscule nips on the edge of the
right side of the lid (circled in red).
