The coins have the shape of a rectangle, with a edging protruding along the perimeter on the front and back sides. The side surface of the coins is notched.


Obverse

at the top right is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus, around which there is the inscription: REPUBLIC OF BELARUS; lower right - denomination: 20 RUBLES (on silver) and 1 RUBEL (on copper-nickel), year of minting (on silver - fineness of the alloy), in the center - a stylized image of the artist, as well as a fragment of the painting PRISONER 32815.


Reverse

in the center there is an image of a fragment of the painting “Partisan Madonna (Minsk)”, at the bottom there is an inscription – M. SAVITSKI and the years 1922–2010.
