Fender Classic Series 50s Esquire 2-tone sunburst 2009 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Fender Classic Series 50s Esquire in 2-tone Sunburst finish. Built in Mexico in 2009 this guitar features a bolt-on construction Ash body with a "C" shape Maple neck and fingerboard. Featured on this instrument is a 3-saddle vintage-style string-through-body Tele bridge, Knurled Dome knobs, and one Vintage-Style Single-Coil Tele that is wired to a master volume, master tone and a three-way tone selector.

The ‘C’ profile neck in gloss finish plays well, with the 7.25" radius providing a suitably vintage feel to an instrument equipped with so many faithful '50s features. The vintage style frets further enhance this authenticity, and paired with the gloss finished Maple fingerboard provide a comfortable and smooth playing experience. The familiar Telecaster body shape is as comfortable as ever, with well set out controls and '50s style single ply pickguard.

The one Vintage-Style Single-Coil provides you with all of the tele twang that you could possibly want. The bridge position on the tone selector gives you straight up bridge pickup and disengages the tone pot so that it is just the bridge pickup with the tone all the way up. The middle position engages the tone pot and allows you to set the tone wherever you want. The neck position utilises a special capacitor in the circuit that cuts out all of the treble so it almost sounds as if all of the tone is rolled off without having to touch the tone knob.

The fingerboard demonstrates a moderate indentation at the 6th fret between the B and E strings, which cannot be felt in playing position.
