Dating from the 1960s, this bright orange hardbound notebook was made by the Keuffel & Esser Co. to capture solar observations, mine surveys and geologic descriptions during field work related to mine engineering, surveying or geology.
Measures approximately 4-7/8" wide x 7-1/2" high. Printed endpapers, alternating lined paper with 6 red-ruled columns on one side, with 8x8 graph paper with vertical red rule opposite. Unnumbered pages are followed by twelve numbered reference pages for Curve Tables.
Keuffel & Esser Company or "K&E" was a surveying instrument maker in Hoboken, NJ until 1968.
