This vintage art print is signed by D. Sweet and showcases the beauty of African American folk art. The small print measures 5x7 inches and features a landscape orientation. It is a licensed reprint of an original piece produced in the 1980s.

I have tried finding out more information on this artist, as I have another very similar piece that is signed "edi sweet," but I have been unable to find much other than edi sweet is an artist from the 1980s who was in Gulfport, Mississippi that focused on African American Folk Art.

This piece is still wrapped in plastic, which I assume is from the original purchase. There are a few spots that plastic appears to have been dented in but not ripped. Please see the photos for details.

The artwork depicts scenes of working life, agriculture, and Americana, showcasing the history and cultures of the region of origin, Mississippi, USA. The print is signed by the artist and comes matted for easy framing. Its style is black folk art, and it is perfect for collectors of contemporary art and those interested in the subject matter.
