Up for sale, a 2021 Fender Traditional II ‘60s Telecaster Thinline FSR in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original gigbag and hangtags. This rare “Made in Japan” Telecaster Thinline was produced in limited quantities as a Factory Special Run (FSR) model, featuring a double-bound ash body and a one-piece maple neck.

The semi-hollow construction and tonewood complement yield a naturally resonant, open-sounding acoustic response with great midrange punch and immediacy. There’s plenty of Tele twang and snap on tap at each position on the three-way pickup selector switch, with more aggressive bite at the bridge and a smooth, bell-like fullness at the neck. This FSR Thinline is featherweight at 6lbs 7oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The maple neck has a substantial '50s-style U-shaped profile carve with generous shoulders and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .890” deep at the 1st fret and .925” at the 12. The fretboard has a modern 9 1/2“ radius and the slender fretwire has well-rounded crowns, only exhibiting light wear beneath the plain strings on the crowns of frets 1-5. This guitar plays cleanly up the 25 1/2“ scale with a straight neck and a responsive, optimally-adjusted truss rod, and the bone nut measures 1.615” (41.05mm) in width. The headstock sports a block logo and bullet truss rod nut, and the F-stamped tuning machines function reliably.

The simple electronics function as intended, the chrome-plated hardware shines like new, and the plastics are clean as can be, with the protective factory film still intact on the pickguard. The gloss Natural finish is framed front and back by black binding, highlighting the dynamic grain in the ash body. There's barely a scratch on the body, and the smooth gloss on the neck profile is similarly pristine.

The original Fender-branded gigbag is included, along with the hangtags.
