Antique 1930’s wedding gown with two parts: low back simple satin slip and long-sleeve lace overlay with train. I purchased this dress from an antique dress dealer in 2023. It is beautiful, but I didn’t end up wearing it. This item is vintage and is sold in as is condition. I cannot offer returns for any reason, so please review the information below and the images carefully.

DETAILS:

Slip dress is ivory/cream satin, bias cut with a low / open back and thin straps.

Floor length, long sleeve lace dress has floral pattern and satin false buttons down the front. Front is V-neck with high back to nape of neck. Long sleeves are sheer lace with shoulder ruffles and pointed wrists for an elegant feel. Godets in bottom of gown provide extra volume in skirt. Back of dress extends into train with star points. There is a wrist loop on the inside of the train for easy carry.

No closure in slip or lace gown - the dress must be put on over the head.

There are no tags - appears homemade or custom made.

MEASUREMENTS:

Approximate measurements of dress:

BUST: 34”

WAIST: 28”

SHOULDER WIDTH: 14”

LENGTH FROM FRONT SHOULDER TO FRONT HEM: 59”

LENGTH FROM BACK OF NECK TO END OF TRAIN: 101”

This dress would likely work best for a size 24-27 with alteration.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

The dress is in excellent condition for its age, but note that it is almost 100 years old. The lace is delicate and there are small holes in areas (not noticeable).
